Weapon (glaive), rare
This magic weapon deals an extra 2d6 damage to any creature it hits. This extra damage is of the same type as the weapon’s normal damage.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Damage: Slashing, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze

Posted Dec 1, 2024There has not been much discussion about this weapon and the interactions with feats, so let's look at one specific example.
If you have the Polearm Master feat which gives you the Pole Strike bonus action, as below:
It is my reading of that section that the Vicious Glaive's additional 2d6 extra damage would still apply but would now be Bludgeoning damage, unless we need consider that only the "front" of the weapon is the Vicious part.
