The ability focus is a flat, coin-sized gem that has 11 charges. The charges reset every day at dawn.

Upon attunement to it, its owner can affix the ability focus to any large-enough item of non-magical clothing or gear on their person. The owner can similarly remove it by willing it to come loose.

When affixed to a worn or carried item on their person, the owner can expend a number of charges before making an ability check to gain the following effects:

• Roll the next ability check at +2. (2 charges)
• Roll the next ability check with advantage. (4 charges)
• Roll the next ability check at +2 and with advantage. (6 charges)
