Description: This unique shield is crafted from durable metal and includes a resonant war gong at its center. The shield's rim is lined with intricate runes that seem to vibrate when struck. When used, the war gong lets out a reverberating sound that can bolster allies or disorient foes, depending on the wielder’s choice.

Standard Shield AC Bonus: Grants a +2 bonus to AC while wielded.
War Cry (1/day)
As an action, the wielder can strike the gong, unleashing a resonant war cry that affects all creatures within a 15-foot radius. The wielder chooses one of the following effects each time they use it:
Battle Rally: All allies within range gain temporary hit points equal to the wielder’s proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier and have advantage on their next attack roll until the start of the wielder’s next turn. This effect represents the barbaric call to arms, rallying friends with a surge of vigor.
Thunderous Shout(Quirk given when naming): All enemies within range must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + the wielder’s proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier) or be deafened until the start of the wielder’s next turn. A creature that fails the saving throw also has disadvantage on its next attack roll. This effect mimics the shockwave of a war gong, disorienting foes and creating an opening in battle.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
