One of Abelard's early prototypes, this weapon started out as a portable battery used to power an electric teapot. Abelard was enjoying a nice cup of tea when a bandit suddenly accosted him. Not thinking, he reached for the batter and slammed the bandit over the head with it, causing a burst of electricity to discharge and fry him. Inspired by the event, Abelard took the bandits short-sword as a trophy, incorporating the battery into it's hilt.
