Us Dwarf's here at the Misty Mountains pride ourselves in making products that put Smaug to shame. So when asked to make a dragon incapacitating weapon we had to get creative; introducing the MK1 Anti-Dragon Cannon. It's 14mm sleek and cylinder design is made entirely of the hides of purple worms and shoots a single magic missile. with a rang of 150ft this baby has the velocity needed to bring a elder dragon out of the air with a damage force of 1d4x30. It isn't without it's downsides though, it weighs over 30Ibs and the barrel tends to overheat every time it is used. This causes it to need a days rest or a one hour ice bath to cool down. Not to mention If you have the strength of anything less than a dragonborn; you will have to make a strength saving throw at disadvantage. A failed roll will knock out 15ft away from the weapon and with a critical fail you can add a shattered shoulder with your knock back. Although if you want something that packs a heavier punch; try our armor piercing magic missile rounds. With the tip of the magic missile encased in Bulette hide that will punch through a dragon scale like a hot knife through butter. Only sold and purchased at your local Gnome Depot.
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Sap
