This curved bronze sword shimmers with a dangerous energy, adding a +3 to your hit die. The blade can be summoned into your hand using a bonus Action, as long as it is on the same plane of existence as you. The kopesh has 15 charges that replenish at midnight every night. You may expend the charges to perform the following actions:

Primordial Leech - (2 charges) The blade is coated in a sickening green flame. On a melee hit, the attack does an additional 2d6 Necrotic damage and the flame sticks to the creature for 3 Rounds. Using your bonus action, you may either cause the flame to leap from the creature to a different creature of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of it or continue to burn the creature it occupies. The targets take 3d6 Necrotic damage. Requires Concentration.

Arcane Mimicry - (5 charges) Upon making a successful melee attack on a creature, you may "borrow" a spell or an ability from them. If it is a spellcaster, roll a 1d8 to determine the level if spell (if applicable) that is stolen and can be used on your next turn. If a non-caster creature, the DM decides what "ability" to loan you and the implications of said ability. The stolen ability lasts 3 rounds and the spell lasts 24 hours or until it is cast.

Rend - (10 charges) When landing a successful melee attack, you may use Rend to temporarily sever a spellcaster's connection to the Weave. Roll a 2d4, the result determines how many rounds the caster is unable to use spells.

Spiritual Proficiency - (10 charges) You endow yourself with endurance and martial prowess fueled by the collective knowledge of those slain by the blade. Until the spell ends, you can’t cast spells, and you gain the following benefits for 5 rounds:

  • You gain 50 temporary hit points. If any of these remain when the spell ends, they are lost.
  • You have advantage on attack rolls that you make with the kopesh.
  • When you hit a target with a weapon attack, that target takes an extra 2d8 Necrotic damage.
  • You have proficiency with all armor, shields, simple weapons, and martial weapons.
  • You have proficiency in Strength and Constitution saving throws.
