The Shattered Sword of Narsil lies in fragments, its once-powerful blade now broken. The shards still bear Elven inscriptions and retain a glimmer of the ancient power that once felled great enemies. Narsil’s fragments can be carried as a symbol of hope and a connection to an ancient lineage, even in their broken form.

Though broken, the sword retains enough of its original form to be used in combat if needed. While it lacks the full power and balance of a complete longsword, its fragments are still sharp enough to deliver a precise strike. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Legacy of Kings: The wielder gains advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks when dealing with individuals who respect royal or ancient bloodlines.

Inspiring Presence (1/Long Rest): Once per long rest, the wielder can channel the memory of Narsil’s former glory to grant themselves 1d8 temporary hit points. This effect symbolizes the legacy of resilience and the strength of the Númenorean bloodline.

Due to its awkward shape, attacks made with the Shattered Sword of Narsil suffer disadvantage unless the wielder is of Númenorean descent, in which case they wield it with enough familiarity to negate the penalty.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
