today our cleric found a new set of chain mail armor. it was better then his old leather armor, which he wore after his last chain mail set was destroyed. for some reason, he refuses to kill the goblins in our dungeon. when we ask him to take it off, he refuses.
-day 63, party leader Tom
this armor hides itself as a normal set of chain mail armor, but when someone puts it on, it prevents them from attacking anyone, even if a spell is used to make them attack. the wearer will also refuse to take it off. the only way to remove it is to pull it off of them. to do so, the affected player and the player pulling off the armor rolls for strength. the player pulling the armor off needs a higher strength roll to pull it off. at first, you can not tell if the armor is enchanted or not. but when the next combat encounter happens, the player is forced to refuse to fight.
to detect the magic, roll a d20, with no bonus. you need at least a 15 to detect the magic
Made of interlocking metal rings, chain mail includes a layer of quilted fabric worn underneath the mail to prevent chafing and to cushion the impact of blows. The suit includes gauntlets.
