The Aanwerth Wand II is a refined emblem of mastery for students advancing through the ranks at Aanwerth School. This wand is meant for those who have demonstrated both proficiency and restraint with their original school wand; it represents the balance of raw potential and controlled execution in the hands of a trained arcanist. The wand encourages diligence and tenacity, enhancing the discipline needed for true arcane mastery. 

Arcane Equilibrium (Passive). If the wielder successfully maintains concentration on a spell for its entire duration or until the spell naturally ends (minimum one minute), they regain a 1st-level spell slot. This ability can be used once per long rest.

Measured Spellcasting (Passive). This wand rewards careful management of magical resources. If the wielder uses more than half of their total spell slots in a day, they gain advantage on Wisdom saving throws for the rest of the day, reinforcing restraint. Until they use half of their spell slots, they gain advantage on Intelligence saving throws promoting thoughtful conservation of energy.

Flow State (1/Long Rest). Once per long rest, the wielder can invoke a flow state to gain advantage on a concentration check, reinforcing the steadiness and focus needed for spellcasting. This encourages students to maintain their spells under pressure, teaching them to endure magical strain without breaking focus.
