Weapon (dagger), artifact (requires attunement)

You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Mother's Touch. This weapon seems to vibrate when near a warpwood tree. If given the proper catalyst, it can open a teleportation circle from one warpwood tree to another.

Child of the Stars. When attuned to this weapon, you gain truesight and blindsight out to 30 feet.

Fangs of Night. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 10 + your Charisma score) or have Inflict Wounds cast upon them as the knife melts into their flesh.

Accursed. Once attuned to, this weapon cannot voluntarily be unattuned from. You become more paranoid, and your dreams are plagued by horrific nightmares. Unless you succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw, taken at the beginning of a long rest, you gain a point of exhaustion as your nightmares prevent you from sleeping.

Sunlight Sensitivity. This weapon is accustomed to the dark. You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
