This sword was bequeathed by Sir Talavar to a character whom he judged to be a worthy adherent of the chivalric code.
Sir Talavar's blade may be used as a magical dagger that grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. It lacks the thrown property.
While attuned to this weapon, you can use an action to cast the augury spell from it. This use of the spell provides a witty or boisterous remark as a response to your query. Once you cast augury with the blade in this way, you cannot do so again until the next dawn.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
