Weapon (spear), artifact

Appearance:
Auroryx is a magnificent spear forged from solid gold, shimmering with an otherworldly light that makes it appear molten under any illumination. The spear's shaft is intricately engraved with divine glyphs, pulsating faintly with celestial energy. Its blade-like tip is razor-sharp and elongated, with fiery runes running along its edge that seem to burn with an eternal, inner fire. Despite being made of gold, the spear is unnaturally light, allowing it to be wielded with precision and speed.

Special Ability: Heaven's Ruin
Once per day, Auroryx can channel the Heaven's Ruin ability, a devastating attack designed to slay even the mightiest of deities. Upon activation, the spear's runes ignite in blinding light, creating a radiant explosion as the spear is hurled. The attack cannot miss, homing in on its target with unerring precision.

When it strikes, Auroryx bypasses all mortal protections, tearing through divine auras, wards, or resistances. The impact releases a wave of energy that binds the god's essence, rendering their divine powers inert for a short time. Mortals and lesser beings caught within the shockwave are blinded and staggered, their connection to any divine forces severed for 24 hours.

Legend:
Auroryx is said to have been forged by a mortal hero who defied the gods, crafting the spear from gold plundered from their temples. The hero imbued the weapon with the combined fury of countless souls who had suffered divine wrath. In the hands of a mortal, it represents the ultimate rebellion: the ability to bring gods to their knees.

Golden Curse:
Each time you use Heaven’s Ruin, you must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 necrotic damage and gain one level of exhaustion.

Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
