Aethercry

Forged in the flames of arcane rituals and tempered by Silvan’s emotions, Aethercry is no ordinary longbow. Its polished wood gleams faintly with an ethereal light, though a subtle coldness radiates from it. Intricate carvings of tides and stars weave along its limbs, and faint, almost imperceptible whispers echo from the bowstring when the bow is drawn. Aethercry carries the weight of Silvan’s determination and his inner conflict, reflecting both his potential for greatness and the shadows of vengeance he harbors.

Aethercry’s Call:
Once per short rest, Silvan can channel his emotions through Aethercry, casting Hunter’s Mark at 1st level. However, if the marked creature dies, Silvan must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be compelled to attack the nearest hostile creature for one round, reflecting his struggle with control.

Coldmark Aura:
Aethercry’s bond manifests as a faint aura of coldness. Creatures with a passive Insight score of 15 or higher sense an unease when near the bow or its wielder. When Silvan rolls a natural 1 on a Charisma (Persuasion) or (Deception) check, the aura intensifies, causing disadvantage on the next Charisma-based ability check made within 1 hour.

Whispers of Resolve:
When Silvan spends his action focusing on Aethercry, he hears faint whispers of guidance. Once per long rest, he can use this feature to gain advantage on an attack roll or saving throw, representing a moment of clarity amidst his turmoil.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
