Aegis is a +1 polished bronze shield with the face of the gorgon Medusa emblazoned on it surface. The visage of the gorgon puts fear in the heart of any who look upon it, acting as a deterrent from attackers.
Once per short rest, the wielder of the shield will be able to cast the spell sanctuary on themselves.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
