A shadowy piece of breastplate armor that grants a additional +1 to your AC and resistance to necrotic damage. If you attune to the armor, you gain the Shadoweaving, Void Step, Umbral Binding, and Tendril of the Abyss.
Shadoweaving
The wearer can manipulate shadows to create shadowy constructs (e.g., weapons or shields). These constructs deal damage or offer protection based on the wearer’s power over shadows. The wear can only conjure 2 constructs at a time which last for 1 minute and disappear under sun light. This ability can only be used once every new dawn
Void Step
The wearer can teleport short distances (e.g., 30 feet) in a burst of shadow, effectively disappearing and reappearing instantly. The wearer is shrouded in darkness for a brief moment, making them difficult to track. The ability can only be used once per shortrest.
Umbral Binding
The armor allows the wearer to command shadows to restrain or bind an enemy in place. Shadows coil around the target’s limbs, rendering them immobile for a short period. The target must be in a dimly lit or dark area to be effected
Tendril of the Abyss
If the user has the Shadow Bind infused to them they can send tendrils that deal 2d12 force damage in all directions within 10ft of the wearer alongside granting a additional +1 to your AC. This ability can only be used once every short rest.
This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
