An amulet that is able cast one Counterspell at lvl 3 - once per long rest.

The tale of the amulet begins with a troubled, young wizard. This young boy was getting picked on by one of his peers for not being able to cast spells of the evocation nature. This lead to him daily dodging out of the way from incoming firebolts by a particular nasty student of the same age as himself. After a long time of ridicule, the young wizard wished to find a way to stop the attacks and decided to take some time and figure out a way to hinder these attacks. He excelled in enchantments and felt that he could come up with a measure of protection if he could focus on it souly. He figured the best way to get rid of distractions were to act sick. He notified his masters and stayed in his chambers for a month to build a magical item to aid him. Every once in a while, one of the more understanding master wizards of the school, joined him in his tinkering and assisted him with until at last - it was finished.

He knew that the harrasing wizard in question, was as weak and new to magic as himself and that he could only cast one measly spell a day. Once the young wizard returned to his daily schedule, he blocked every attempt of the spell - and no one could figure out what had happened to the wretched boy's magic. The dreadful boy eventually started to doubt himself and the once harassed child, increased his knowledge of blocking magic and started to interfere with his former bully's magic attempts IN class. Which eventually lead to the boy leaving the school entirely.
