This magical augment is meant to be added to an Artificer's battle defender or artillerist summons, this augment specifically is a set of gears, tubes, wires, and pulleys that may be applied upon taking any kind of rest.
This augment grants the ability to use their "Actions" as a bonus action instead. Additionally, your battle defender gains a retractable force ballista that has a range of 30 feet and deals 2d8 force damage, and knocks a creature back 5 feet. Melee attack is also increased by 1 damage dice.
