While you wear these socks, you can cast the spell water walk on yourself once per long rest, without requiring any spell slots or components. Doing so fills the socks with a thick adhesive substance.

Curse. These socks are cursed. Once you put them on, the curse extends to you. While cursed, during every long rest, you are magically visited by the vendor, who applies suction to your toes. You must succeed on a DC 8 Constitution saving throw or gain 1 level of Exhaustion. The vendor only appears while you are resting, is only visible to you, and vanishes is you fully rouse from your sleep.
