This large axe has a glowing blade and a snowflake-sigil-covered hilt. The blade seems to radiate Christmas spirit.
This weapon has 20 charges. As an action, you can spend up to 5 charges to shoot a bolt of pure Christmas spirit at a creature within 120 ft. that you can see. That creature must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC is 14 + the number of charges spent). On a failed save, the target takes an amount of d10s of damage equal to 2 times the number of charges spent. Additionally, the target is petrified for a number of minutes equal to the charges spent and covered in frost.
Additionally, as a bonus action, you can spend 3 charges to imbue either you or an ally within 30 ft. of you with frosty magic. The next attack that the chosen creature makes deals with an extra 1d10 damage of the weapon's type.
Lastly, you can spend 5 charges to make an attack roll on a creature within 5 ft. This attack deals 10d6 + 15 cold damage. Additionally, the target's walking speed is halved for 1 minute, due to frost.
This weapon regains 1d20 charges at dawn. This weapon, whenever you defeat an enemy with this weapon, makes you say a "ho, ho, ho," afterward.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
