Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement)

This ornate amulet is crafted from mithral and set with a deep blue sapphire in its center, engraved with the sigil of the War Wizards of Cormyr. A faint aura of enchantment and abjuration magic surrounds it, and the sapphire pulses faintly when near magically locked doors or barriers within Stormhaven House.

Properties

All-Access

While attuned to the amulet, you gain the following benefits within Stormhaven House:

Unlock Doors: You can bypass any mundane or magical lock, including those secured by the arcane lock spell, within Stormhaven House. Doors magically open as you approach them, provided they are keyed to the amulet.

Override Wards: You have advantage on saving throws against magical traps, wards, or effects that would restrict movement or access in the manor.

Limited Teleportation:

Teleport Between Rooms: Once per day, as an action, you can teleport to Stormhaven. This ability fails if the destination is warded against teleportation or if you are not within the manor.

Insight into Secrets

While wearing the amulet, you can sense hidden compartments, passages, or concealed areas within Stormhaven House. As an action, you can make an Intelligence (Investigation) check (DC 15) to locate hidden doors, vaults, or similar concealed structures within 30 feet of you.

Call for Aid

As a bonus action, the wearer can summon the aid of a retinue of War Wizards, depending on your reputation with the War Wizards they may be hostile towards you. Once used, this ability cannot be activated again until dawn.

Geas

The amulet is tied to the powerful geas spells used to ensure the loyalty of the War Wizards to the Dragon Throne. If the wearer is not loyal to Cormyr (at the DM's discretion), the amulet may place them under a geas spell, compelling them to serve Cormyr’s interests. The geas can only be removed by powerful magic (e.g., wish, greater restoration cast at 9th level).

Lore

This amulet was crafted for high-ranking War Wizards stationed at Stormhaven House. It serves as both a key and a safeguard, allowing trusted individuals to access restricted areas while protecting the secrets of the academy. It is said that Vangerdahast himself enchanted the first batch of these amulets, binding them with spells to ensure they could not be misused by enemies of the Crown.
