Wondrous Item, rare
This item appears and acts like an ordinary fishing rod when cast into a large body of water that contains fish. However, if cast into a small body of water, the rod still - somehow - is able to bring fish to its lure to be caught. How and why this occurs, nobody is certain, and the same is as to whether the fish are locally sourced or conjured into existence by the rod, or whether it is the rod or the lure that is the source of this potent magic. All that is known is that the fish are always delicious.
Cast the lure of this fishing rod into a body of water at least 1 foot wide and 2 feet deep. After a short time, a tug of varying intensity may be felt from the rod.
Roll a d10 and confer with the DM to see what to do.
