This leather bound journal has etched into the front has a never ending cycle of books with a book etched into the cover. The book measures at 8" x 11" and looks to be about 80 pages long, however when the book is turned to what should be the last page, another page is there, pages will never stop appearing at the end of the book to turn yet the book will never increase in size.
When the book is touched to another book, and the command word is spoken, Aurick's Never Ending Journal will copy all contents of the original book and add it to the end of the line of all other books copied.
When the user has the booked closed and thinks of a title and page currently contained within the journal, they will find they go to exactly the page they were looking for when they open to any page within the book.
The journal can also be used as a notebook, sketchbook, or as a spell book, and the user can specify a command word to keep those pages secret.
Finally, if a command word is spoken, and the book is within 100 miles of the user - all contents of the book are erased.
Legends say that the Wizard Aurick was a ravenous reader, but found carrying all the books he wanted to read nearly impossible, even with multiple bags of holding. Further, he couldn't always take books he wanted to read, especially unique works that were in someone's private collection. As such, Aurick began research on a book that could assist him with making his dreams possible.
It's said that Aurick also had a lecherous side, and often would keep nude sketches in his book - as such he ensured that even in his dying breath he could clear his browsing history.
