Weapon (crossbow, light), common

This crossbow is fitted with a repeating mechanism powered by a magitech core. It can fire multiple bolts in quick succession, reducing the time required to reload. When the wielder takes the Attack action and makes an attack with this crossbow, they can make an additional attack as a bonus action. Each bolt fired by the Arclight Repeater also has a faint arcane glow, causing minor electrical damage (1d4 lightning) on a hit.

Arc Overload: If the wielder hits with three consecutive attacks in one turn, the crossbow's energy core overloads, granting the next attack an additional 1d6 lightning damage, but the crossbow requires a DC 15 Intelligence check to discharge the overload safely, or the wielder will take 1d8 lightning damage.

Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
