This amulet allows the wearer to enhance the potential of the spell Polymorph. It is a purple gemstone with a bronze dragon figure wrapped around the head.
While attuned to this amulet, the user is allowed to polymorph into the additional creature type of dragons alongside the normal type of beasts (similar to how True Polymorph allows the user to transform into monsters of any type).
All other normal restrictions of the spell apply, including "The new form can be any beast whose challenge rating is equal to or less than the target's (or the target's level, if it doesn't have a challenge rating)." However, the user can only use the dragons' breath attacks if the user is at least 3 levels higher than the chosen monster.
For example, at level 9, Rikishado the Bard can polymorph into a Young Silver Dragon (CR 9) without being able to use the dragon's breath attack. He could also potentially polymorph into a Young White Dragon (CR 6) and be allowed to use the dragon's Cold Breath (normal recharge rates apply).
