Amethyst of Rest

These small purple uncut gems are said to only appear following mortal incursions into a realm of nightmares.

They contain a fragment of the sleep stolen by the evil spirits of that realm.

These gems can be used to either gain the effects of a Long Rest whilst taking a Short Rest OR they can grant the benefits of a Short Rest as an action. Once used the gem turns to dust and cannot be used again.
