This item looks like a circular golden medallion with a single closed eye on it. The eye opens in the presence of any illusion within a range of 120 ft that is within line of sight. An illusion, for the purpose of this item, includes any spell from the illusion school of magic or objects or structures that are currently emitting illusion magic. You don’t learn the location of any illusions, merely that an illusion is present.
