Weapon (rapier), rare

Impaling Thrust. As an Action, build power, then lunge forward for a long thrust that pierces an enemy's guard. You make an attack with a bonus +2 to attack rolls. If the enemy is wielding a shield, you ignore the AC it grants the wielder. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency, regaining all uses after a short rest.

Rot. When you hit a target 5 times with weapons that have this feature the target has to make a Constitution Saving Throw (DC 15). If they fail the Saving Throw they take 1d8 Necrotic Damage and take 1d4 Necrotic damage each turn, for 1d4 turns. If they pass the Saving Throw they only take 1d8 Necrotic Damage.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Spur of a giant ant which has been fashioned into a rapier. The blade drips with scarlet rot.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
