A series of beakers, percolators, condensers and funnels, each delicately carved from various gemstones. Measuring lines are marked by runechalk sealed into engraved crystalline reliefs, and modular enchantments trace their structure through the core of each instrument. When a concoction is produced from this item, its byproduct is captured and sealed separately. A byproduct which, through its relationship to the whole of its creation, carries an echo of its more desired twin.
When you use this item to create a token and you carry its byproduct, you become aware when that token is used. Additionally, you may immediately use your reaction to cast the spell of the triggering token without expending a spell slot. If you use this item to create a talisman infused with a spell, you may use the same reaction when it is used, but the talisman does not regain its use at the end of your next long rest.
