Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by a Spellcaster or "Half Caster")

A sword that radiates magical prowess, fit for a Vampire strong enough to rival Dracula himself. 10 ft reach.

You can take a Free Action to toss this magic weapon into the air. When you do so, the weapon begins to hover, flies up to 60 feet, and attacks one creature of your choice within 10 feet of itself. The weapon uses your attack roll and adds your ability modifier to damage rolls.

While the weapon hovers, you can take a Bonus Action to cause it to fly up to 60 feet to another spot within 80 feet of you. As part of the same Bonus Action, you can cause the weapon to attack one creature within 10 feet of the weapon.

After the hovering weapon attacks for the third time, it flies back to you and tries to return to your hand. If you have no hand free, the weapon falls to the ground in your space. If the weapon has no unobstructed path to you, it moves as close to you as it can and then falls to the ground. It also ceases to hover if you grasp it or are more than 80 feet away from it.

As a bonus action you may recall the sword early, or if the weapon comes back to you after 3 hits you also gain this property. When the sword returns to your hand you may make 2 extra attacks as a free action. The sword may return to a hover on the start of your next turn. 

This weapon may burn with Radiant fire dealing 3d12 Radiant damage on every hit. As a full action you may do a special attack, you spread fire in a 25 ft cone in front of you. All creatures in the cone must make a save of your spell save. If failed the creature takes 8d12 Radiant, if passed the creature takes half damage. You may use this up to 3 times before a long rest.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
