Ring, rare (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by a Plasmoid)

This polished, obsidian-black ring shimmers with an iridescent sheen, resembling the surface of shifting liquid. It pulses faintly when worn by a creature with an amorphous form, resonating with the wearer’s unique physiology.

  • Fluid Combat Form:
As a bonus action, you can make a melee attack with a pseudopod formed from your body. This counts as a weapon attack and deals 1d8 bludgeoning damage + your Strength modifier. The attack has a reach of 10 feet and counts as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities.

  • Unyielding Shapeshifter:
When you use your Rune Knight’s Giant’s Might feature, you can tap into your amorphous nature for added benefits:

    • Your reach with melee weapons and pseudopod attacks increases by 5 feet.
    • You have advantage on saving throws against being grappled, restrained, or knocked prone.
  • Runic Adaptation:
You can carve one additional rune onto your equipment (as per the Rune Knight class feature). This rune is bound to the Amorphous Band and does not count against your normal rune limit.

  • Absorb and Strike:
Once per long rest, when you take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage from a melee attack, you can use your reaction to absorb some of the damage and redirect its force.

    • You gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage taken.
    • Your next melee weapon attack deals an additional 2d10 force damage.
