You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
When you hit an aberration with this weapon, the aberration takes an additional 2d6 necrotic damage.
Critical Role: The aberration bane longsword was apparently acquired by Scanlan Shorthalt before the Campaign One stream began. Its first appearance was in "The Sunken Tomb" (1x44), when as he pulled it out to attempt to jam a blade trap, he stated, "I have never used it."He also used it to wound Grog to make their concocted tale of being attacked within the bear spirit cave in the Feywild more convincing. It was never used by Scanlan in combat.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Necrotic, Damage, Combat, Versatile, Sap
