Description:
Ashen Requiem has fully awakened, becoming a divine instrument of Sableth’s will. The once-silvery shaft has transformed into a radiant metal that seems to exist between the physical and celestial realms, gleaming with an ethereal glow. The runes along its length now shine like starlight, shifting and pulsing as though alive. The blade has become larger, forged from what appears to be solid starlight, and the phoenix engraving at its center flickers with golden flames that never fade. Wisps of radiant energy drift from the weapon, and when swung, it sings with a celestial choir.
The opalescent gem in the pommel is now a radiant orb of divine energy, glowing so brightly it can illuminate an entire battlefield. Those who stand beside the wielder feel comforted by its warmth, while undead tremble in its presence.
Awakened Features:
-
Exalted Features:
-
Undead Bane. The weapon deals an additional 4d10 radiant damage to undead creatures.
-
Eternal Rest. When an undead creature is slain by this weapon, it cannot return to life or be restored by any means, including a wish spell. If a lich is reduced to 0 hit points by this weapon, its phylactery is instantly destroyed. A creature attempting to cast a resurrection spell on any undead slain by this weapon must succeed on a DC 22 Wisdom saving throw, or the spell fails.
-
Rebirth’s Shield. You can now use the weapon to cast Revivify at will and Resurrection once per long rest without expending a spell slot or material components.
-
Divine Purge. Once per short rest, as an action, you can unleash a 30-foot burst of divine energy centered on yourself. Undead within range must make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw, taking 10d10 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success. Undead that fail the save by 5 or more are instantly reduced to ash and cannot be resurrected.
-
Sableth’s Grace. While attuned to this weapon, you gain A +3 bonus to AC, immunity to necrotic and poison damage, and you have advantage on death saving throws. Additionally, you no longer age and are immune to any effect that would reduce your maximum hit points.
-
Champion of Rebirth. If you die while attuned to this weapon, your body is immediately restored to life at full hit points, as if affected by the True Resurrection spell. This feature can only be used once, after which it cannot be used again for 100 years.
-
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Immunity: Necrotic, Damage: Radiant, Immunity: Poison, Advantage: Death Saving Throws, by The Champion of Rebirth, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze
