This steel blade is adorned with intricate patterns and shows exceptional craftsmanship. The tip of the blade is decorated with runes that represent the ideals of the wielder. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

The sword has 5 charges; it must spend 8 hours within 5ft. of an open flame (campfire, fireplace etc) to regain 1d4 + 1 charges.

When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can expend up to 3 charges and speak the command word to ignite the blade. Flames erupt from the blade of the sword making it incandescent and producing 40 feet of bright light and 40 feet of dim light. The creature hit takes an additional 2d4 Fire damage for each expended charge. The blade remains ignited for 1 minute and deals an additional 1d6 Fire damage on every subsequent hit for the duration. The flames can be doused early by sheathing the blade.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
