Weapon (revolver), very rare (requires attunement)

The arcane revolver can fire 6 shots and then must be reloaded with an attack or an action; if you do not move more than 5 feet on your turn, you can reload with a bonus action. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Ammunition fired by this weapon is treated as having the Silvered property, furthermore when you score a Critical Hit with this weapon against a creature that is shape-shifted, the weapon deals one additional die of damage to the target.

This magic firearm has 6 charges and regains 1d4 + 2 charges after a long rest, during which time the wielder must spend 1 hour cleaning and tuning the weapon.

When you hit a creature with an attack using this weapon, you can expend one of its charges to deal an additional 3d6 Force damage to the target.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
