Archivist's Token

These enchanted medallions are crafted for those who have earned the Great Library’s eternal gratitude. Each token carries a spark of the Great Library's vast knowledge, granting its bearer moments of insight and discovery.

Abilities:

• Mystic Insight: Three times per long rest, you may reroll a failed Intelligence (History), Intelligence (Arcana), or Wisdom (Insight) check related to deciphering mysteries, riddles, or ancient knowledge. You must use the second result.
• Seeker’s Sense (Activated): As an action, you may activate the token to sense genuinely ancient artifacts or texts of significant historical or magical value within 60 feet. For 1 minute, the token faintly hums when such an item is nearby. The humming does not change in intensity and does not reveal exact locations—only a subtle awareness that something of importance is present. You may use this ability once per short or long rest.

Special Note: Archivist’s Tokens are symbols of great respect within scholarly circles. Displaying one in academic or magical institutions may grant you preferential treatment, access to restricted texts, or unexpected aid from those who recognize its significance.
