This spellbook made by an unknown benefactor for Alexandra Auvreniel, serving as the physical manifestation of her desire to make her mark in the world. The book creates pages as others are filled and more are needed. While this book is attuned and in your possession, it continually writes down your adventures and achievements inside of itself as a story.
If you can attune to this item, you can use it as a spellbook and an arcane focus.
While holding this book, you gain a +3 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your wizard spells. In addition, the book has 7 charges for the following properties. It regains 1d6 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 20, the book regains 7 charges. On a 1, the book does not recharge during the next dawn.
Legacy of the Greats. While holding this book, you can use charges in place of using spell slots when casting spells written inside this book. The amount of charges used is equal to the spell's level, and you may only cast spells up to the 7th level in this manner.
Leave My Mark. When you cast Glyph of Warding, you may choose to lose 5 hp; if you do, you forgo the material cost and change the casting time to 1 round (you can't move, use an action, bonus action, or reaction that round).
