A small bronze patch with claws that hook into the wearers flesh. Covered in small arcane and alchemical runes. A small pearlescent disk sits in a cavity under the patch against wearers skin.
An alchemist did his best to imbue the positive affects of an arcane drug into this patch allowing it to boost the constitution and resilience of a wearer for a brief time while removing the negative attributes of the drug (to the best of his ability). The wearer can use it as a reaction and they seem to live and fight through through wounds that would otherwise kill and/or incapacitate them. After a short time however the affects wear off and the user feels and realizes all his pain and injury.
As a reaction the user casts Lv1 healing word on themselves. the is granted as additional HP for any additional healing done by the artifact after the creature is max HP.
1d4 minutes after the use of the patch if the patch is not used again the user will immediately suffer damage equivalent to all healing done by patch since last "crash" dropping to 1 HP if they would otherwise drop to 0 or lower. During "crash" wearer must make a DC13 Wis or Con save or suffer 1 point exhaustion. If dropped to 1 HP player will remain at 1hp but lose consciousness for 10min if Wis/Con save was 5 or below.
The patch has been created by the alchemist to not exceed 4 uses a day to prevent to much backlash after repeated uses in a short period of time
Every 3 months the patch will lose efficacy and require a new Tablet of the altered drug to keep working.
