These leather-framed telescoping goggles feature many different colored crystal lenses. It has multiple toggles on each side allowing the different lenses to be slotted into the primary frame. While some of the functions remain unclear to you, you have discovered the following functions so far:
1. While wearing the goggles, you may configure them in order to supplement your night vision. For a creature without darkvision, the goggles provide the darkvision ability. For a creature with darkvision, your vision is improved to be roughly equal to that of a bright, clear, sunny day.
In addition, you can cast the identify spell using the googles. Once you do so, you can’t do so again until the next dawn.
