Description

This cursed yet masterfully crafted armor is forged from hellforged obsidian and infernal steel, shaped to resemble a wolf’s ribcage wrapping around the wearer. The chest plate pulses faintly with crimson runes, and when Varesh moves, wisps of shadowy embers trail behind him.

Infernal Resistance. You have Resistance to Necrotic damage while you wear this armor.

Blood Price (Drawback) – Every dawn, the armor demands a sacrifice—Varesh must either take 1d6 necrotic damage (ignoring resistances) or wound a creature that day, or the armor loses its magical bonuses until blood is spilled.

Hellfang’s Guidance – The armor subtly guides Varesh’s strikes, granting +1 to weapon attack rolls, as whispers of infernal warlords echo in his mind.

Shadowed Instincts – Once per long rest, Varesh may gain advantage on a Dexterity saving throw, as the armor momentarily distorts reality to shift him out of harm’s way.

Malzithor’s Aegis – The devil-forged steel of this armor bolsters the wearer’s defenses, granting +2 to AC as it absorbs and redirects the force of enemy blows.

 

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
