Originally designed for battlefield versatility, this armor allows its wearer to adjust their defenses on the fly, adapting to incoming threats with unparalleled precision.
Dynamic Resistance. After finishing a long rest, you can choose one damage type (Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, Necrotic, Poison, Psychic, Radiant, or Thunder). You gain resistance to that damage type until you change it.
Reactive Matrix. A number of times per day equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum 1), you can use your reaction to change your resistance to a different damage type from the list above. This change lasts until you use this ability again.
Made of interlocking metal rings, a chain shirt is worn between layers of clothing or leather. This armor offers modest protection to the wearer's upper body and allows the sound of the rings rubbing against one another to be muffled by outer layers.
