An Ancient Holy Avenger greatsword forged by methods long lost to time. Despite its age, the blade shines of an unknown and unblemished gold and silver metal. The crossguard is composed of a pearl-like material engraved to look like white feathered bird's wings. The grip is covered in a very soft gold colored velvet-like material. The pommel is composed of a diamond shaped silver-like material with a holy symbol engraved into its center.
As a Holy Sword this weapon will display its true worth only in the hands of a Paladin. When wielded by a Paladin, you gain a +5 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit any creature of Evil alignment, that creature feels the effects of a Dispel Magic spell cast at 9th level. When you attack creatures of Chaotic Evil alignment, the bonus changes to +10 to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
While you hold the drawn sword, it creates an Anti-Magic aura in a 10-foot radius around you. This aura negates all spells and magical abilities, whether cast by friendly or hostile creatures or even cast by yourself, including other paladin auras. The Anti-magic aura does not effect magic items, potions, or its own dispel magic effect it has upon hit on any Evil creature.
If anyone who is not a Paladin tries to wield the weapon, it will act as if it is a +2 Greatsword and have no other effects.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Paladin, Damage, Combat, Warding, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
