Weapon (handaxe), rare (requires attunement by a Dwarf)

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

This magical Handaxe once belonged to a proud and stubborn dwarven king. Known for his incredible proficiency with the weapon, which was deadly at range, many foes tried to rush him down, only to be impaled by the phalanx of dwarves behind him.

While attuned to this weapon, you can use an action to choose a target within 60 feet that you can see. You hurl the axe at the target and it automatically hits, dealing regular damage. The axe then returns to the hand you threw it with.
If you are under the effects of the Rage ability, add your rage damage bonus to the total damage.

There are several circumstances that alter the outcome of this action, such as when a target is under the effect of one of the following spells:
     - Shield: this ability fails and the axe falls to the ground in front of the target
     - Blur: roll a d100, on a 50 or lower this ability fails and the axe returns to your hand
     - Mirror Image: the regular effects of the spell take place (rolling d8, d10, d12 to determine a hit); the axe then returns to your hand
[Other circumstances may affect this ability at your DM's discretion]

"What? Two dozen of you and a hand full of us? Good chances for any dwarf! May you rue this day on which you fell to Halim Bonebreaker, foul creature!" - Halim Bonebreaker, probably

Proficiency with a Handaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
