Authentic Tarot Deck

This one-of-a-kind tarot deck has hand-painted and -inked art on cards made of vellum from human skin of unknown provenance. It is hundreds of years old, and the Seven of Rods is missing. The cards are irreplaceable, and register as enchanted to spells like Detect Magic.

When performing divination with the deck, the user gets +1d4 to their skill roll:

• Arcana: Used to actually perform real divination with the deck; the resulting reading is determined by the DM.
• Deception: Used with a false reading designed to fool or manipulate the target.
• Performance: Used with a false reading to entertain the target, for the purpose of making money.
• Persuasion: Used with a false reading to positively influence the target.

If 8 or more cards are destroyed, the deck becomes useless. This includes the one missing card so far.

Notes: Bonus: Arcana, Bonus: Deception, Bonus: Performance, Bonus: Persuasion, non-clerical magic-user or Druid., Buff, Deception, divination
