This specially crafted gauntlet bears an intricate device made of brass, gears, magical components and complex wards engraved on a matrix of triangular mithril fragments set in a vertical circle on the back of the hand. Within the center, a clock-like device ticks whenever the object uses its magic. A small blue-black gem is affixed in the center of this contraption, providing magical empowerment when most needed.
The Gauntlet can cast the following cantrips at-will:
- Force Weapon
- Force Buckler
- Force Dart
In addition, once per day you can tap into the Residuum gem affixed to the glove and use its power to restore a number of spell slots equal to your Proficiency bonus, but can only restore slots up to level 4. It costs 1 point per spell level (so a +4 proficiency bonus can restore 1 spell of 4th level, or 2 spells of 2nd level, and so on. When you use this feature, the gauntlet cannot use any of its cantrips until the following dawn and you gain 1 level of exhaustion.
