Armour of the Treant

This armour appears to be some form of softened bark that is flexible yet sturdy enough to protect the wearer. The shoulders are dawned in carved leaves that change colour to match the wearer's eyes. The back of the armour is carved with vines that bloom with the seasons. This was gifted by a Treant, who will always be able to locate and track where the armour is at any time.

 

Wearing this armour gives the following benefits:

• You gain a +2 bonus to your AC while wearing this armour.
• At the end of each long rest you can choose a damage type to become resistant to.
• Once per long rest you can use a reaction to completely negate all damage from one attack of your chosen resistance. Note that any effects attached to that attack still take effect, (E.g. Negating all Poison damage, but still becoming Poisoned).
• If you choose to negate damage, your next attack will be made with disadvantage. 

 

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
