Armor (plate), very rare (requires attunement by a Proficiency in Light or Heavy Armor)

Asgardian Model. The armor is comprised of Mithral, a light, flexible metal, hardened to withstand substantial damage. If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithral version of the armor doesn't.

You gain a +2 bonus to Saving Throws while attuned to this armor. The armor is also considered "Light", though it uses the statistics of Mithral Plate Armor (which is also "heavy").

Lingering Thorforce. You gain resistance to Lightning and Thunder damage. In addition, you gain the following benefits:

  • Once per long rest, you can use your reaction to gain Immunity to Lightning and Thunder Damage for up to a minute.
  • Thunder Gauntlets. Each of the armor's gauntlets counts as a simple melee weapon while you aren't holding anything in it, and it deals 1d8 thunder damage on a hit. A creature hit by the gauntlet has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you until the start of your next turn, as the armor magically emits a distracting pulse when the creature attacks someone else.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
