ARC-ane Reactor

This small circular device comes with a leather harness and can be strapped to the wearer. It glows a gentle orange when ready to be activated.

As a bonus action, you can press on the device and cause arcane, electrical energy to surge through you. While the item is active in this way, you gain the following benefits:

• You immediately gain temporary hit points equal to 2d6 + your Constitution modifier..
• Your speed increases by 5 feet.
• Once per turn, you may add 1d8 lightning damage to any weapon or spell attack that requires an attack roll.

These benefits last until the start of your turn in a number of rounds equal to your proficiency modifier, after which point the item cannot be used again until you complete a long rest.
