Weapon (greatsword), legendary (requires attunement by a creature attuned to Hope and Dread)

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Attacks made with this weapon also deal addition 1d6 necrotic damage + half your proficiency bonus rounded up. If this weapon was created this turn attacks with it deal extra necrotic damage equal to your proficiency bonus and all hostile creatures within 40ft take 2 necrotic damage and must succeed a DC 17 saving throw or suffer the frightened condition. As a bonus action you may defuse Demon Sword Dread into the scimitars Hope and Dread or transform it further into Angel Blade Hope. You are attuned to the newly created item and it possesses this weapons remaining charges instead of its own as it replaces Demon Sword Dread. 

As a bonus action at the cost of 3 charges you infuse your next successful attack with a dreadful power. The next attack made with this weapon that hits deals an extra 3d6 fire damage + 3d6 force damage + 3d6 necrotic damage then force the target to make a DC 18 wisdom save or suffer the frightened condition. 

The item regains 1d4 charges after a long rest to a maximum of 3 charges.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
