Amulet of the Apostle’s Devotion

This silver amulet, inlaid with a flawless emerald carved into the shape of a heart, once belonged to a devoted apostle of the revered Priestess.

The emerald pulses faintly with a rhythmic glow, as if echoing a heartbeat. Found on the apostle’s lifeless body, the amulet carries both a divine blessing and an ominous burden.

Advantage on Saving Throws against being frightened.

Apostle’s Protection. While wearing this amulet, you gain resistance to necrotic damage and advantage on saving throws against being frightened.

Martyr’s Sacrifice. When an ally within 30 feet of you would drop to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to transfer the damage to yourself, reducing them to 1 hit point instead. You take the full amount of damage they would have suffered. Once used, this feature cannot be used again until the next dawn.
