Aquila

This staff is made with ancient, dark wood and inlaid with engraved stone rings. The engravings tell of the story of Aquila, the Kanuri messenger who made missions to and fro the ether sea to deliver messages from Amanzi to the Abasoke. Tied to the end of the staff with leather strips are a smattering of multicolored gem stones, beads and feathers. The head of the staff is a carved head of an eagle.

While attuned to this staff, you have advantage on Perception checks requiring sight.

The staff has 6 charges. While attuned to this staff you can expend charges to do any of the following effects:

• 1 charge - cast the Gust cantrip
• 2 charges - cast the Fog Cloud spell. For every 2 charges you expend, you can increase the level of the cast spell.
• 3 charges - cast the Gust of Wind spell
• 4 charges - gain a Flight speed equal to your walking speed for 1 minute.

The staff regains 1d4+2 charges at dawn.
